 Formasi Baru Killing Me Inside

Akhirnya Killing Me Inside resmi mengumumkan formasi baru Selasa (16/9) lewat akun Twitter mereka, @KILLINGMEINSIDE , selepas ditinggal Onad Rabu (10/9) lalu. Kepada HAI secara eksklusif Kamis (11/9), Josaphat dan Rudye memperkenalkan vokalis baru mereka, sesaat setelah latihan membawakan lagu baru di studio milik Aldy Kumis Pee Wee Gaskins, Beat Space, di bilangan Kemang.

Tanpa Onad Killing Me Inside Rilis Single Baru, Young Blood

Nggak lain dia adalah Vira Razak, vokalis Revara, band project Rudye yang dibangun sejak 2011 lalu bersama Radityan Akbar, mantan drummer Thirteen. Awalnya waktu melihat Vira di dalam studio sempat kaget, karena HAI mengira Vira sekedar latihan biasa. 

"Kan, gue bilang tadi di chat kalian jangan kaget lihat vokalis baru Killms," ucap Rudye terkekeh. 

Vira sendiri langsung mengkonfirmasi kalau dirinya memang langsung menjadi pilihan pertama Jo dan Rudye setelah berpikir keras siapa yang lebih cocok menggantikan Onad.

"Dadakan juga sih, lagi di rumah gitu, terus tau-tau Rudye nawarin, 'Vir lo mau nggak jadi vokalis Killms?'. Kaget juga gue dengernya, soalnya tiba-tiba banget, dadakan gitu, terus diceritain sama Rudye panjang lebar tentang Killms. Yaudah deh, gue iyain," cerita Vira kepada HAI.

"Waktu kita ke rumah Vira, kita juga ngobrol sama Papanya. 'Jadi gini om, kita mau ajak Vira ngeband sama Killms, materinya tuh gini-gini', terus kata Papanya Vira, 'Oh, yaudah om ikut ke studio ya', gitu, deh, hehehe...." tambah Jo waktu pertama kali ajak Vira gabung ke Killms.

Nggak Vira aja, akhirnya Putra dan Tetsu yang sebelumnya berstatus additional player  di Killms, sebagai penabuh drum dan juga bassis, akhirnya resmi menjadi personil tetap band yang baru aja merilis single baru, Young Blood .

"Mereka juga udah lama main sama kita, bantu-bantu kita, bahkan mereka kalau latihan itu paling semangat," curhat Jo soal resmi bergabungnya Putra dan Tetsu.

"Kayak Tetsu tuh misalnya, kalau kita latian dia paling on time ," timpal Rudye.

So , Killing Me Inside akhirnya punya formasi baru, yaitu vokalis dan frontwoman Vira Razak, Josaphat (gitar), Rudye (keyboard/scream & backing vocal ), Tetsu (bass), dan Putra (drum). 

"Yang jelas kita bakal tetap cadas kok, udah denger materinya kan barusan?" tanya Rudye meyakinkan HAI.
